[ Unlike the previous unexpected call, this one is full image (blame the glitches), during the day, and instead of weak and barely there, this time the contact is soft. There is ... joy to it. Again, blame the glitches. But also serenity.

Look who still hasn't found out everyone who's come back. ]

[It is glitchy as it's image so Regis can see Auron. He's still got his guard up, with his shades and the high collar of his clothes...but his voice is warmer. Less grief stricken.]

I... 'tis apparently the day of new arrivals. And Cor returned to Verens - he was here for a while, when we first showed up.

[ And, because information is a good thing to have and his important people ought to know about each other... ]

Should you run into him, do not mistake him for unarmed. He has the ability to draw weapons borrowed.

Cor...oh!

[One of Regis' dear friends and colleagues. And very much loved ones. That's something his brain is still processing, but it's not the time or the place to question what that could possibly mean to their relationship, newborn as it is.]

You must be feeling pretty good about now. Did...did you want me to give you some space for a bit so you can spend your time with him?

[ Softly, and so, so sweetly. ]

Yes, I am joyed for it. And I would share the joy with you, as I shared my ache when we returned to find Noctis gone.

As to space... [ Regis considers the question for a moment, as it is a legitimate question and deserves proper consideration, then shakes his head. ] Not as such. Cor is not exactly the kind of person who stays in one place much, unless ordered - or, I suppose, waiting for -- [ prey ] -- something of his choosing. We will find our ways to catch up, and if, on some specific occasions, my time is wanted, I will let you know. But, for the most part, you need not worry of that.

Okay. I mean, if one of my brothers showed up, I'd probably ask for time, so I thought you might be the same.

If I run into him, I'll say hello. [Since he does know what Cor looks like, thanks to that memory.

It also occurs to Auron while he has Regis here, he should ask him something important.]

Regis? The flower festival is coming up. Did...did you want to go out together one of the days? That way you can spend the other days with your house or wherever you like.

Thank you, and I do appreciate it. I suppose ... it has not been long for Cor, since he was here, and there is far less of a surprise than Braska or Jecht would have to deal with, should they come, but also - 'tis the way he is. He would rather observe and figure things out on his own than be told, unless 'tis something that needs to be known immediately.

[ Regis's mouth twitches. ]

I do not know if you have met Tseng, since he arrived in Verens, but Tseng does remind me of Cor rather a lot.

[ A beat, and with the question, Regis brightens even more. ]

That would be very lovely, yes. I... believe last year I helped run security of the festival, more than anything.

[ Head canted to one side, his smile widening a little. ] This will not save me from that second date, for the record. I am looking into something interesting for that.

I have met Tseng. Good guy. Good to know what I'm in for.

[Watching Regis grow happy at being asked is enough to make Auron look away, a little red faced, but pleased.]

I figure it's a good way to wander around together. We might get a lot of questions...but that's okay. I want to spend some of that time with you. Hand in hand.

[He does turn his full attention back to him for the other information about the second date.]

If by interesting, you mean potentially life threatening, I'm still on board.

I am guessing, [ Regis's smile is kind of. Even brighter, ] that most of the questions will come after the festival. But yes, I would very much like to spend that celebration close to you.

[ Beat. Regis considers how much Cor would flip if he finds out about a date like that - he's mostly been looking for good options in Shaarnath, but. ]

If you can keep it relatively discreet, should we come out of it each in one piece, I think I can add that to the outing.

Oh yeah? Then guess what, I'm stashing some extra clothes and my sword somewhere because...

[He hesitates for a moment. As long as he doesn't say specifically what he's wearing, it'll still be a surprise.]

...because I'll be dressed nice. On the day we're at the festival together.

[ Oh. Oh! Regis blinks, and then smiles, bright, in anticipation. ]

I... believe we can avoid danger to that extent for the festival. But, if you need anything to keep close though not quite on you, I can...

[ ... why has he not offered this before? Other than the obvious part where Auron does like to have his swords literally at hand. ]

If you are willing, we can attempt for me to grant you access to the space where we store our arms.

[ That, at least, is something that most people can be given access to. It should not be a problem. And Auron certainly can be considered close enough to Regis that he need not even be question about this - even if there were Astrals or Crystal to do the questioning in the first place. ]

Either way, I cannot wait to see you in what you choose to wear. Variety can allow appreciation in new ways.

You mean the magic closet of wherever? That might be pretty convenient, actually.

[No, he hasn't quite understood what "Arminger" is or means. The choice comment about appreciation does prompt an involuntary sound out of him. Not to mention a push of his sunglasses to firmly cover his eyes.]
