[Auron takes a breath to calm down before answering Squall again.]

Squall. You know you can always stay at my place if you want. Do you need a place to be more calm or something?

[He's going to try to understand you, he really is.]

I wanted a place where I could train in peace. But I'm doubting you'll leave me in peace.

[Okay. Let's think about this for a second. Why does Squall need to train in peace? Because he might have lost a fight. It's the sort of thing he does when he's really angry at losing to Auron.

What would he have lost to? Probably to the same little bundle of darkness that surprised him before he could draw his sword: Sora.

So what is Squall most likely feeling right now? A bunch of guilt. How do you get rid of it? By getting stronger. And the only way to do that is to train.

If Squall is legitimately hurting, this would be a bad idea. But physical pain can be worked through. Guilt is a bit harder to dodge. Auron's familiar with that very well.]

If you promise to feed and walk the dog, I won't say a word. Plenty of room around the cottage to do what you need to do.
