[He did get hit with a lot of darkness though. He doesn't feel different but he also can't tell if that's somehow evident in his face.]

[It has been a few days after the attack. Auron does seem well enough. Only if Squall is hyper vigilant will he see that Auron does actually have some marks on his skin. Particularly healing ones wrapped around his throat.]

[ Squall finally makes his way to Auron's place and just shoves open the front door, not even a knock or anything. ]

[Even with a cursory glance at his wayward son, he can tell Squall is favoring one of his hands over the other one.]
